Real Estate Career Opportunities FAQ

What are the splits at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we offer five different split options dependent upon your lifetime unit sales. First, is a 50/50 split if you've done less than 13 career transactions. Second, is a 60/40 split, if you've done less than 25 career transactions. Third, is a 70/30 split if you've done less than 37 career transactions. Fourth, is a 70/30 split with a $25,000 cap. And fifth, is a 70/30 split with a $50,000 cap for teams."

What is a capping split model?

"The capping split model at kwELITE is a total amount that the brokerage will retain from an agent based on the commission dollars that they pay in. So in split tier number four and number five, an agent would receive a 70/30 split until they've paid in $25,000 as an individual, which will occur at around the 12th transaction in a 12-month rolling calendar year, and/or $50,000 cap for teams."

What is the capping model at kwELITE?

"The capping model at kwELITE exists in tier four and tier five. So if you're an individual agent that sells around 12 units a year, or around $2.8 million in volume, you'll cap once you've paid in $25,000. So your split at the beginning of each calendar year, depending upon when you join, will be a 70/30 split until you've paid into the brokerage $25,000. If you're a team, you're going to be at a $50,000 split. So when the aggregate total of your team hits $50,000, our brokerage won't take any additional revenue from your team."

What kind of trainings do you offer individual agents?

"At kwELITE, we pride ourselves on top-level training designed specifically for individual agents wanting to scale their business to the next level. We've come up with three months worth of content that's given every Monday between 11:15 and 12:15, and dialogue training specific to that content every Wednesday from 11:15 to 12:15. These topics include anything from listing presentation training, buyer presentation, negotiation strategies, social media engagement, and many many more topics that have helped our agents average over 17 unit sales per year.
"

What kind of training do you offer team leaders at kwELITE?

"I launched my flagship team, Omaha's Elite Real Estate Group in 2011. And we grew from 70 to over 700 unit sales in just six years, making us the fastest-growing real estate team in history, and we were the number one team in the world at Berkshire Hathaway awarded in 2019. Team leader training is dear to my heart and something that I personally do every week on Thursdays from 11:15 to 12:15. We have 12 months worth of content that we deliver to team leaders in a physical office, as well as virtually. So if you want to come and attend in-person and/or watch a recording, or attend virtually, you have that option at your disposal. We've picked 12 topics specific to exactly the pillars necessary to build and scale a dominant real estate team. Anywhere from recruiting, to culture, to lead generation, lead conversion. The idea is to help team leaders stop selling real estate, which is a job, and focus on building a real estate career that is scalable and leverage-able so that you don't have to spend your time working with buyers and working with sellers, you can spend your time focused on building your real estate business."

Is there training for new agents at kwELITE?

"kwELITE brings new agents a program called our certified advisor program or CAP. The reason for the name is our goal on your first 36 career transactions is to help you become a capper. And so what we've done is we've created three groups at kwELITE for any agent that's done less than 37 transactions. So if you watch our answer regarding splits, you'll find anyone that's done one to 12 transactions is at a 50 50 split, and you'll be on a team called the launch team. The information that's provided to the launch team, the leads, the support is based specifically upon how much time you've been in the business. The second tier is anyone 13 to 24 transactions within the CAP program. And we call that group growth. And there's a different productivity coach, and success manager, and coaching curriculum designed specifically for you to help you get to the third tier of the CAP program, which is achievement. And again, that's anyone 24 to 36 units. So it's imperative to us to not run like the traditional brokerage who has failed the new agent, in that 19 out of 20 agents are out of the business in the first two years. Our goal is that no agent is left behind and we will provide you with the exact curriculum, the leads, the accountability, the coaching, and the support necessary to help you be successful in your real estate career."

What kind of technology training do you offer at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we believe that technology is going to play a major role in the residential real estate space over the next five to 10 years. And for that reason, we've invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into our tech support within our 10,000-square foot hybrid tech-powered office of the future. Technology training is dear to our hearts and something that I participate a lot in. And we offer a tech Tuesday every Tuesday from 11:15 to 12:15 if you'd like to come by the office sometime to check that out. Our tech Tuesdays are an open door to any agent across any brokerage flag. And we focus on all the different technology components that will help you better serve the consumer, help you sell more property, and help you leverage your business."

Do you have a mentorship program at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we offer a mentorship program in which we call our productivity coaching program. This is part of our certified advisor program. So when an agent joins the CAP program, they actually get a built-in mentor who's there with them on their first 10 listing presentations. They're there with them when they're negotiating their first contract. So you always know, no matter when it is, nights, weekends you have a question, a one-off on how to write a contract, there is a person who's going to be right there, holding your hand through that process until you feel comfortable and confident that you can do it on your own."

How much does it cost to be an agent at kwELITE?

"A lot of people have asked us how much it costs to be an agent at kwELITE. We keep it really simple. The cost to be at kwELITE is $50 a month. That $50 covers your errors and omissions insurance, your $25 KW tech fee, and all of the beverages and food that's offered to the agents and clients here at our office. From an attendance standpoint, you're not required to attend any of the trainings, any of the brokerage meetings, but of course, both the trainings and brokerage meetings are encouraged."

Do you have a brokerage meeting at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we host a broker meeting every Tuesday at 10:00 AM, and all admin, ancillary businesses, and agents are invited to attend. But we don't call this a brokers meeting. We call it a stakeholder meeting, because every person within kwELITE has a stake in the business. At that meeting every week, each agent has a voice. So if anyone has any particular question, or comment, or shout out that they want to give someone in the group, they're welcome to do that. We also celebrate when someone checks something off their vision board. So when somebody has a story that they want to share of something that they were able to check off their 12-month to five year goal, they get to share that story and everybody will celebrate that success. It also is a great time for us to bring in our strategic partners, our vendors, and other ancillary businesses who can bring value to the organization, who can bring value to the meeting, and help us set ourselves apart as thought leaders in the space, so we can provide the consumer a better service, a better value, and take our business to the next level.
"

Do you offer administrative support at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we pride ourselves in the support that we offer our agents and teams. We have full-time administrative staff that work contract-to-close. At the traditional brokerage, the broker will typically input something and make sure you have your paperwork turned in. We take it one step further. We know an agent shouldn't be spending their time in the weeds, they should be spending their time out prospecting and servicing their clients and/or building their teams. And so this staff was designed specifically to help you with everything from your preapproval letter, to getting your estimated cost sheets put together, to setting up a home inspection, to ordering your home warranty, to scheduling a closing. They are a full hands-on contract-to-close service built specifically for individual agents and teams. And there are different cost structures associated with this, dependent upon how much of their services you want to take advantage of. We know to help a team and an agent take their business to the next level, we have to help the agent get out of the weeds so they can focus on their highest income-producing activities."

What kind of marketing do you offer to help sell agent's listings at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we've strategically implemented a marketing program that helps us get our listing sold for top dollar and in the least amount of time. We know it's a sellers market, but that doesn't mean that we're going to fall short on doing our duty and our fiduciary responsibility to service the seller the way we'd want to service our own listing or our own home. And for that purpose, we've partnered with VRLY to provide each and every seller, a Matterport 3D virtual tour a drone fly over a gimbal fly through, professional pictures with a DSLR camera, and we even have a sign runner who goes to every house to put up a coming soon sign, an active listing sign, and a sold sign, and they pull the sign once the property is closed. And to just seal it all off, we provide a full-time professional stager to go on an appointment with each and every seller to make sure that their house is showcased in its very best light. It's our number one priority to help the seller maximize profitability in the least amount of time, with the least amount of energy to them. We are not basic, we're elite when it comes to marketing our listings.
"

What virtual reality is offered at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we pride ourselves on our time and investment in technology, primarily when it comes to virtual reality technology. All of our existing listings get a Matterport 3D tour. That's an existing space. That's a 3D tour where we use a 360-degree camera and we set it up every two or three feet throughout an entire property, which gives somebody the ability to tour a home from the comfort of their own home, using anything from a computer screen, a tablet, a phone, Google cardboard, Oculus Go goggles, or even HTC Vive Pro goggles. But where we've taken virtual reality to the next level and where the future has truly now become the present, is we've built a 20-by-20 foot virtual reality studio inside of our office at a 180th and Dodge Street. Within this studio, we're able to create six degrees of freedom renders of homes that have never been built before. So a client of ours can give us a CAD blueprint and all of their finishes, fixtures, and equipment, and we can build a 6D model. And when they come into our studio, they can actually tour that entire property in virtual reality, by walking in the VR room and have the exact spatial experience that they'd have if they were walking in an existing home. And what's really unique about this experience is that you also will get access to a custom white-labeled link that you can send the consumer. And so we're not just giving them pictures, 3D renders, we're actually giving them the exact experience they have when they come into our VR studio, so that they can tour that home that they're potentially going to buy and build from the comfort of their own home from a phone, a tablet, a computer, or their own virtual reality goggles, which today, the best option is the Oculus Quest 2. It's $300 right now for preorder. They're going to be out in the fall of 2020, and that gives them the ability to tour homes in six degrees of freedom as well. We are always focused on investing in the best technology. We know the consumer is demanding more of a technological experience so they don't have to physically tour homes, especially when it comes to the new construction landscape. We will always be on the forefront of this tech. So if you're someone that services new construction buyers, if you're someone that wants to take your technology to the next level, VR is the space to be in. And we are the cutting-edge and the leading real estate brokerage not only in Omaha, but across the country when it comes to virtual reality technology. If you'd like to check this out, come out to one of our meetings. We host a technology Tuesday every Tuesday at 11:15 AM, and I'd be more than happy to personally tour you through our VR room that's located at a 180th and Dodge."

What is a one-stop-shop solution?

"At kwELITE, we pride ourselves on not just being agents but serving as an advisor to every person that buys and/or sells residential real estate. Not only does someone come to the office to meet with their agent, and to search homes online, or to receive a listing presentation, they can also meet with all of the ancillary businesses that play a major role throughout a real estate transaction, including a mortgage company, Aksarben Mortgage, which is physically at our kwELITE office, an insurance company, Aksarben Insurance, which is here to provide property and casualty insurance to every client, also a financial planning firm which is Collaborative Planning, that can help with whole life, term life, disability, and even healthcare. And not to mention, last but not least, a title company, Platinum Title and Escrow has a footprint inside of the kwELITE space as well. This is making it much, much easier for the consumer. They don't want to have to drive across town to meet with all of these different lenders, and vendors, and mortgage companies, and insurance companies. They want to be able to do it all in one place. And even if you already have other businesses you partner with, that's great. We fully support that, but why not give each and every consumer a second option? Why not provide them with a second quote, a second rate quote on mortgage or insurance to make sure they're getting the very best coverage for their family, the very best rate for their needs."

What is the VRLY studio?

"It was imperative when we were looking at building out an office, that we created a digital marketing hub inside our space. It's almost like the brains of our company. And through social media engagement, the perception of an agent and an ancillary business becomes reality. And that's why we decided to build a studio. It's state-of-the-art. We have over a $100,000 invested in it, right at the center of our office. We call it the VRLY studio. Inside this space, an agent can be recorded on a podcast, can host their own podcast, can interview someone in-person, can update their headshots, can shoot a vlog video, and can even have access to virtual reality technology. We believe that the future of marketing is marketing in a digital space, and we have strategically placed social media pages including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and even a YouTube channel across all of the businesses that our agents work with, so that we can be sure that the consumer knows that we are here, we're here for the long haul, and we're here to help them make more money or save more money, in less time, with less energy."

Do you offer leads to the agents at kwELITE?

"Yes. We offer leads at kwELITE. Any agent that's interested in working brokerage leads has the opportunity to apply to be part of one of three programs that are currently being offered. Number one is BoomTown leads. Those are predominantly going to be Google ads and Facebook ads. We, right now, are generating over 2,000 registered leads per month that we distribute to around 15 of our BoomTown-approved agents. The second type of leads would be Zillow leads. We have a Zillow team designed specifically to work any and all Zillow opportunities that present themselves. And the third would be Command leads. That's the platform within KW, where leads, right now, we can buy for anywhere between 33 to 57 cents. Command leads consists primarily of Facebook ad leads. Over the last 10 years, we've created over 100,000 registered leads and over a million visitors from the lead generation that we are generating. But it doesn't just come to lead gen. The number one topic after the lead is generated that people don't talk about is lead conversion best strategies, which I'll get into in the next question.
"

What are your lead generation strategies at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we've always prided ourselves on lead generation. We've generated over 100,000 internet leads in the last 10 years, and currently we are averaging around 2,000 registered leads a month. When it comes to lead conversion, it's not just about converting those internet leads. It's also about converting the leads from your sphere of influence and your prospecting efforts. We know that it's about creating relationships of trust. And we know that the average person that gets placed into our database is in the database for around six months before they go under contract, for the people that do go under contract on both the buy and list side. And for that reason, it's imperative that we implement a strategic approach when it comes to lead conversion. At kwELITE, we pride ourselves on servicing clients the same way we would service our own family member. And it's important to us that we train our agents to do the same.
"

Where are the kwELITE offices located?

"Currently, the kwELITE headquarters is located in the Advent building at 180th and Dodge street. And we have several expansion locations coming online here in the next six to 12 months. Predominantly, Gretna, Bellevue, Papillion, Plattsmouth, Midtown, Elkhorn, Council Bluffs, Lincoln, and we already have an arm in Columbus, Nebraska. It's our focus to place offices strategically so that we can support agents independent of where you're located, and that there's always a place you can go to print off a flyer, to meet with a client, and to collaborate with like-minded agents like yourself. "

What kind of opportunities are there for me at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we're really proud of the different opportunities that we make available to our agents and staff. I've always said true leaders serve their followers by giving them the ability to be just like them. Unfortunately, as I've examined hundreds of traditional brokerages and teams across the country, there aren't always a lot of great opportunities to grow within an organization. Independent of what role you're in today, there will be opportunity for you if you put in the time, energy, and work to become the best version of yourselves. Since KW is a newer brokerage in Omaha, Nebraska, we only have growth from here. And we're going to need your help and your support to take our business to the next level. And there will be a lot of leadership opportunities for you, not only just locally across our 12 different locations, but nationally, as we expand into hundreds of offices across the country.
"

What is a tech-powered conference room?

"In February of 2020, pre-pandemic, I was asked on stage at family reunion, by Gary Keller, in front of 20,000 people, if the audience was to change one thing over the next five years, what should they be focused on changing? And I said that my belief was that over the next five years, every office that had a physical space needed to give the consumer and the agent, alike, a virtual option. And for that reason, we've invested tens of thousands of dollars into our six high-tech virtual conference rooms. Inside that conference room we're running immersive technology which lets you bring your own device, any device, and screen cast up to four devices at the same time on our 55 and 65-inch flat screens. We also have IMAX with Zoom already loaded on it that talks to a AVer soundbar with an inset HD camera. So if Mr. or Mrs. Buyer wants to physically come into our space, but the significant other would like to join virtually, it is literally the exact same experience for them from the comfort of their home and/or office. I know the future is giving the consumer and the agent of virtual option. We'll let them choose. We're here to service them the best way we can. This is why we are elite and not basic."

What's the culture at kwELITE?

"Culture is quite a buzzword these days, but I feel like it's a little bit of a cliche. Our number one goal at kwELITE is to help each person live and lead the life of their dreams. We don't define what that lifestyle needs to look like, meaning we don't define the dollar amount that somebody should generate. What we do is once we've worked with each person individually to determine the life they want to lead, we can help them figure out how much income they need to generate to be able to live that lifestyle. Our company's aggregate goal is simply to help each individual realize their goals. And so we work with each person, each team, each admin, to define exactly the key performance indicators necessary to generate the income to live and lead the life of their dreams. We offer training, accountability, systems, and support to help them realize those dreams. And we celebrate the successes of the agent, not because of the income that they generate, but because of the lifestyle that they're able to live. We also host charity events. We host happy hours. We host call nights. We are doing anything and everything we can to bring agents, clients, consumers, and even family members together so that we can literally change the perception of real estate, and take the real estate industry to the next level.
"

What are the concierge services you provide?

"kwELITE offers concierge services in a myriad of ways. The first is our Director of First Impressions. At kwELITE off 180th and Dodge, every client, agent, or consumer that walks through that front door, it's client , sorry. All right. Take two. At kwELITE, we offer a myriad of concierge services. The first would be a full-time receptionist, who's our Director of First Impressions, that greets every person that enters into our office with a happy face, as well as a menu that is given to the client to select any type of hot drink, cold drink, or food item that makes them feel like the very important person that they are. We also partner with third party companies that help your clients from contract-to-close with all of the things that are typically a hassle to a client, like moving their utilities over, or moving their trash service, moving their cable, their internet, and a handful of other functions. It is our number one focus to treat each and every client like family. We don't want to be basic. At kwELITE, we are just that, elite."

Do you offer showing assistance at kwELITE?

"We know that an agent's time is precious, and a lot of people choose to trade time for money, which we would say is a job. Our goal is to help you sell less real estate and focus on building a real estate business. And for that purpose, we have a handful of volunteer licensed real estate agents at kwELITE who will work as showing assistants on behalf of our agents. So if there's a Saturday where you want to catch a game, or spend more time with your family, or hit the gym, or maybe you have another client you have to work with, but you have somebody that needs a listing presentation or wants to go out and look at property, we have full-time showing assistance available at your disposal to be able to hire to go out and open doors for your client.
"

What kind of events are offered at kwELITE?

"At kwELITE, we are passionate about having an abundant mindset. Our real estate coaching business, Elite Real Estate Systems, is headquartered out of the kwELITE office. And for that purpose, we host a myriad of national events in our space at 180th and Dodge. First and foremost, is the team-building summit. And we make these events available to all local agents, kwELITE agents alike, at a discounted rate. The team-building summit brings in top team leaders and thought leaders in the real estate space from all across the country. And we average around 250 to 300 attendees each year. We also host a myriad of team-building workshops and investment workshops here inside our space, which average around 30 to 50 attendees, almost every other month. A few other events that stand out at KW, first and foremost, the largest event of the year that gets around 30,000 people is family reunion. This is a great time to be able to travel and hear thought leaders like Jason Abrams, Josh Team, Ben Kinney, Tim Hile, and even Gary Keller, himself, as well as Mega Camp, which is more geared towards higher-producing agents. If there's an event out there, we're going to be talking about it. We know how important it is to get out of our own local community and be able to share with people across the country, mastermind, mingle, so that we can come back here and take our businesses to the next level, service the client at a higher level, and be able to make sure our agents are making the most amount of money, in the least amount of time, with the least amount of energy."

Do you offer business planning?

"Business planning is a huge focus for anyone wanting to take their business to the next level. It doesn't matter if you're an individual agent, or an aspiring team leader, or broker of an expansion location, you have to have a plan or you will plan to fail. If anyone out there is considering building a large, dominant, successful real estate team, you can check out jeffsbusinessplan.com. I make that business plan free, and I've been giving that to thousands of agents across the country for the last couple of years. But it's our goal with each and every agent, team leader, and/or broker that joins our organization, to help work with you in quarter four to create a business plan strategically customized for you and your goals.

"

What is a hybrid office?

"The hybrid tech-powered office of the future that I speak of is specific to giving the consumer the option to come to the office physically or virtually. Anything that's offered in a physical space needs to have a virtual option for both the consumer and the agent. And for that purpose, we created our training facility as well as all of our conference rooms to support virtual. And not only can we make those spaces available live, but when it comes to training, all of our trainings are created virtually so we can record them as well, and they're even searchable in our digital virtual training library."

What kind of support do you offer teams?

"Building and scaling teams is dear to my heart. I'm the host of a five-star show on iTunes, Stitcher, and YouTube called "The Team-Building Podcast". We've helped thousands of real estate teams scale all across the country. We have our flagship team, Omaha's Elite Real Estate Group, which went from 70 to 700 sides in just six years, and we were the number one team in the world in 2018, awarded in 2019 at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. Our number one goal for every aspiring team leader or existing team leader is to help you take your business to the next level. We're going to teach you to stop trading time for money, which is a job, and teach you to build a scalable real estate business where you don't have to go on appointments. You can choose to if you'd like, but you won't have to go on appointments any longer. And we'll focus on the 12 pillars of building and scaling a dominant team in our Thursday team leader training, which is every Thursday from 11:15 to 12:15. We'll get into topics like recruiting, lead gen, lead conversion best strategies, creating strategic relationships with lenders and vendors to help cover some of the costs of your marketing efforts, charging broker fees to help cover some of the costs of your admin expenses. I love helping build real estate teams. I've built multiple successful real estate teams. And I can't think of a better leader to help you with that than myself. And I'm excited and passionate about this. I personally will be teaching all the team leader courses at 11:15 to 12:15 every Thursday. And if you'd like to come check one out, our office is open to any agent across any brokerage brand. Feel free to come and check out one of our team leader trainings at 180th and Dodge, any Thursday, 11:15 to 12:15.

"

Am I a good fit for KW?

" A lot of people ask us if they're a good fit for kwELITE. It's imperative to us that not only we feel that you're a good fit, but that you also feel like you're going to fit into our systems, processes, and culture. And for that purpose, we've created a 10-step process that every person considering joining KW goes through to make sure that it's a win-win relationship. Our number one goal is to help you realize your goals. And if you believe that we are the vehicle to assist you in that process, we most certainly would want you to align with KW. We make it as simple and easy as possible to help you determine if you believe we are the solution for you. Every Tuesday, we open up our office for our brokerage meeting, which we call our stakeholder meeting. Everyone's welcomed to come check that out. And then, every Tuesday after that stakeholder meeting ends at 11:00 AM, I personally do an office tour and KW orientation. And I'd invite you to attend both or just coming for the office tour and orientation, if you'd like to learn more about opportunities at kwELITE."

What's your onboarding process for agents joining kwELITE?

"We make our onboarding process as simple as possible. We can go at your pace. We have agents that have onboarded in less than seven days. We've had agents that it's taken several weeks. It really just depends on you and how quick you want to make that process. We have a person specifically assigned to help you with each and every function of KW, so that the transition is as seamless and simple as possible.

"

What's unique about your office?

"There's been a lot of buzz in Omaha about our new kwELITE hybrid tech-powered office of the future. It's 10,000 square feet. And what makes it unique is that it's a we work space. We're going to see a lot of this in the next five to 10 years, especially with everything going on in the commercial real estate space, where you take a number of ancillary businesses that run parallel to the real estate company, and you place them all in one location. Our office is divided by the consumer-facing side, which is the six conference rooms and the ancillary businesses that serve the consumer, and the agent-facing side, which is a kitchen area and training facility that's around 3,000 square feet, which is an agent collaboration area. But it's not just agents, alone. It's also all the employees and agents working within the other ancillary businesses that are here at kwELITE. Our office is mid-century modern. It doesn't feel like you're in an office when you're here. It truly feels like you're home. And I think that's the biggest thing that I feel and that I've heard other people talk about when we ask what's unique about our office versus the traditional real estate brokerage that we've obviously all been to."

What kind of coffee do you offer?

"At kwELITE, we have two coffee machines that have the type of coffee machine you might see at a car dealership or at the gas station with hundreds of options. Anything from hot chocolate, to hot tea, to vanilla mocha latte. We offer Starbucks coffee, and there's several different types of beans that we make available to you and your clients.
"

Do you have beer on tap?

"At kwELITE, we wanted to make it feel like you were at home when you were at the office. And for that purpose, our agent team voted and we ended up putting a four tap kegerator in the office. We always have Bud Light on tap. And then we have three seasonal beers depending on what time of year. Our agents find that this is a great way to make the clients feel like VIPs, and it obviously is a good time for us as well, culturally, when we host happy hours, and call nights, and other events like that."

Are pets and kids welcome?

"A lot of people ask us if we're allowed to have pets and kids in the office. And I think the main reason for that is how nice of a buildout we have. Luckily, all of the floors are finished concrete. So pets, 100% are welcome to come. Kids, on the other hand have fingers, and we have a lot of glass in our space. So we really urge our agents not to bring kids into the space. Obviously, joking aside, I have three children, myself, 15, 13, and 11, everyone is welcome in our space, all the ancillary businesses, agents across all brokerage brands. We open our doors to anyone and everyone. We want to be an inviting cultural experience for each and every person that chooses to enter our space. And if you aren't joining the brokerage but you just want to come check it out, you maybe have heard about it or want to see what that hybrid tech-powered office of the future looks like, our doors are open from eight to five, Monday through Friday, and you're more than welcome to attend any of our brokerage meetings every Tuesday at 10:00 AM, or office tours and orientations offered by myself, every Tuesday at 11:00 AM, just following the stakeholder meeting.

How do I get KW merch?

"A lot of people ask us about merchandise. Our agents want to have pop sockets, and t-shirts, and koozies, and different things that they can give away. So at KW, we're always working with local businesses to find the very best products to both give and/or sell to our agents and the clients that our agents serve.
"

How do I find you on social?

"At kwELITE can be found on the top five social media platforms. We're on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and we even have our very own YouTube channel.

Why do you call yourselves elite and not basic?

"What started as a joke, which was, don't be basic, be elite, ended up kind of being our war cry or our mantra. And the reason for that was our flagship team, which was once the Cone team, had a tagline, "Omaha's Elite Real Estate Group". Well, back in 2011 when we launched the team officially, we dropped the name the Cone team and became the tagline Omaha's Elite. And we believed that the reason for the word elite was we wanted to take our business and the way we serve the agents and the consumer to the next level. We want to change the public perception when it comes to real estate agents and how real estate agents treat the consumer. For that reason, it's a great reminder for us, both at kwELITE and agents across Omaha and the country, don't be basic, be elite. Let's change the public perception. Let's treat clients like we treat ourselves, like we treat our own families, and follow that golden rule so we can help those we serve make more money in less time with less energy, while helping agents and admin within the organization generate more income in less time with less energy, and have fun doing it.

Do you offer a sign runner?

"At kwELITE, we have a full-time sign runner. What this means is no more drilling holes in a frozen ground, no more making scratches in the back of your nice vehicle. We have a full-time sign runner that's gonna go to the property, bring the coming soon sign, put it in the yard for you with your rider, with your advertisements. They're going to put a for sale sign up when the house goes live, they're going to put a sold sign up when the house sells, and they're gonna pull the sign the day of closing, so it doesn't stay in the yard for an extra couple of days, and then you get an angry new buyer who just moved in calling you. All of our signs are stored in the basement of our new 10,000-square foot hybrid tech-powered office. And we make this process as simple as possible for each and every agent and team within our organization, because we know your time is important and that you should spend a majority of that time prospecting and servicing clients, not being stuck in the literal weeds."

Do you play music in the office?

"Do you play music in the office?
We feel culturally that music makes a really big difference in one's mood. And for that reason, our reception area at kwELITE is always playing music selected by our receptionist or Director of First Impressions. And then, all of our leadership has access to the music that's played in the agent-facing side of the office. And we always have music pumping, especially before meetings. If you come check it out, there's going to be music playing. And it's really there to set a tone and an ambiance that we're not just here for work. We're having fun. And we're enjoying what we do. We're truly defined by the way we live our lives each and every day, and music plays a big part in the attitude and the culture of our office.

Do you offer filtered water?

"At kwELITE, we've invested in a $4,500 filter water machine that pumps out 250 pounds of sonic ice every 24 hours. You can fill up your flask full of water and ice, that's what I'm drinking here, at the same time. It's the only machine I've ever seen that will push water and ice into a glass. I think it's awesome for anyone that's a water drinker or anyone that's not that should be a water drinker. We make sure that that water is filtered, and healthy, and safe for each person that wants to consume.."

Is there security at your office?

"At kwELITE, we have a state-of-the-art security system. Not only does the access panel in the front of the building require a four-digit code, every agent is equipped with a key fob that gives you access to the building in three different locations, and tracks the exact individual that entered the main building and/or the office. We also have LED lights that are always on. So independent of the time you enter the building, you're going to feel safe. And the thing that I think is best is the parking lot lighting on the south side of the Advent building is the most lit parking lot I think I've ever been in. It's imperative to us that our agents and staff feel safe when they're entering and exiting the building. And the last thing is our cameras. We have a six HD camera solution to make sure we're recording 24/7. So if anyone did enter the space and happen to vandalize or accidentally take something from the office or something were to occur inside of our space, we are recording everything. And we want to make sure that each agent and admin person feels as safe as possible inside of the kwELITE building.
